The “Greek School” project was created by Sofia Boumpari, a graduate of the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Sotiria Tzioga, a graduate of the Department of Primary Education. Our goal is to teach Greek to the children of the Diaspora, that are living outside of Greece. Through our online application, our students are prepared for the Greek language exams (A1-C2) and learn our language. Both of us aim to bring children closer to Greece, the Greek language and our culture.
How did we get started?
We are teachers to children that are living in Germany and teach Greek for all ages and levels. We have been working together since 2017 in the same school as colleagues , but we are working together on projects that are related to education in Germany in general. We want to bring out the best in all our students and to make the most of their abilities. If you would like to know more about each of us, contact us.
What do we do at the Greek School?
The “Greek School” is a project we have been planning for a long time. On the occasion of the pandemic we gained more experience in online education and so we decided to try to create an online Greek School.
It is a platform where we create our classes in different levels (from A1 to C2) and teach the children from the comfort of their home.
How do I get started?
